Yesterday, the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly Hall was filled with renewed energy and commitment as Hon. George Justice Arthur, Mayor of Cape Coast, engaged with all newly deployed Community Police Assistants and Fire Assistants under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
The Mayor extended a warm welcome to the personnel as they begin their official duties, commending them for stepping into roles that are critical to the safety, security, and progress of the Metropolis. He reminded them that their work goes beyond routine assignments—it is a calling to protect lives, strengthen communities, and uphold public trust.
“Discipline, dedication, and integrity must guide you in every step,” Hon. Arthur emphasized. “Cape Coast is counting on you to serve with professionalism and to be role models for the youth.”
The Mayor further encouraged the personnel to see their deployment not only as an employment opportunity but also as a platform for national service and personal growth. By working with integrity and diligence, he said, they will not only contribute to the safety of Cape Coast residents but also to the development of Ghana at large.
The Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly expressed confidence in the YEA personnel, wishing them a successful and impactful journey as they take up their responsibilities in service to the people.
This moment stands as a call to action—for communities to support these young officers, and for the personnel themselves to rise as ambassadors of discipline, safety, and community transformation.
