The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Ghana to deepen cooperation in the area of cybersecurity.
The meeting centered on positioning Ghana as a regional hub for cybersecurity excellence. Both sides discussed strengthening public-private partnerships between the Government of Ghana and UAE companies, with the aim of driving innovation, resilience, and digital security across West Africa.
Talks also explored the possibility of establishing a national cybersecurity council in Ghana—an initiative expected to enhance governance, coordination, and strategic decision-making in the cybersecurity space.
Other key areas of collaboration highlighted during the engagement include capacity-building, professional training, and knowledge exchange to help equip Ghanaian professionals with the skills needed to meet emerging cyber threats.
The CSA reaffirmed its commitment to building strong international partnerships that not only safeguard Ghana’s digital ecosystem but also contribute to regional and global cybersecurity efforts.
