importance of foundation

Dada bee with hard labour
Raised in the warm, generous care of my grandmother, I was deeply shaped by her unconditional love and quiet strength. But in trying to fill the absence of my parents, she gave me the freedom I wasn’t ready to handle. Transitioning to my parents’ structured world felt suffocating—rules, accountability, expectations—it all clashed with my initial unbound upbringing. Therefore , the emotional whiplash was real. I had an inferiority complex but over time, I learned to adjust, to unlearn old habits and relearn what growth demanded. Working in a professional environment as an adult, I come across many people wrestling with life not because of who they are, but because of where their roots began. Sadly, most lack self and situational awareness and are unwilling to unlearn, learn and relearn.
Reflection
🥊Effective childhood training offers structure—rules, retribution, restoration, reconciliation, routines, reliability and requirements—not to restrict freedom, but to build a foundation where a child feels secure enough to explore and grow.
🥊Instead of relying on external control, children gradually develop self-awareness and self-regulation, learning to steer themselves without fear or confusion.
🥊Clear guidelines reduce unpredictability, and with predictability comes reduced anxiety. When children know what is expected, they don’t have to guess how to belong or behave.
🥊The goal isn’t blind obedience, but confident independence. Training gives children tools to make choices—within safe boundaries that shield them from overwhelming risks or guilt.
🥊Healthy boundaries encourage problem-solving and accountability without tipping into shame or panic. They shape strength that feels calm and grounded, not rigid or fearful.
🥊When training is consistent and respectful, discipline becomes a channel for joy, not punishment. The child sees guidance as love, not control.
🥊 Anyone who lacks this kind of upbringing may not also be nurtured as emotionally intelligent, balanced individuals who know how to navigate life with both freedom and care.

☦️ Flawed foundations can be rebuilt—if we truly meet our Maker and willingly dare to learn, unlearn, and grow.
🛐May we wake up, sit up and grow up. Amen
