Ghana and Denmark have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations, following a courtesy call by the Danish Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Jakob Linulf, on the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Ministry in Accra, focused on expanding cooperation in sustainable industrial development, agribusiness, renewable energy, and technology transfer.
Hon. Ofosu-Adjare commended Denmark for its long-standing partnership with Ghana in advancing inclusive growth and capacity building. She reiterated government’s dedication to fostering a business-friendly environment that attracts foreign investment and supports Ghana’s industrial transformation agenda.

Ambassador Linulf expressed Denmark’s readiness to deepen economic collaboration in ways that align with both countries’ sustainable development goals. He described Ghana as a strategic partner in West Africa and emphasized Denmark’s interest in strengthening joint ventures, trade partnerships, and knowledge exchange.
The two sides also explored the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Denmark and the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry to formalize future cooperation frameworks.

Their discussions further highlighted Denmark’s support for Ghana’s green transition agenda, focusing on renewable energy and innovation-driven trade. Both parties underscored their shared vision for resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth that creates jobs and strengthens local industries.

The renewed engagement marks another milestone in Ghana–Denmark relations, which have evolved over decades of mutual collaboration in development cooperation, environmental sustainability, and human capital development.
