Dignity in labour. Koobibini at it again!

I have a relative who had so much potential but achieved very little. He always dreamed of wealth and greatness but avoided the diligence and work needed to achieve them. When he embraced religion in school, his ambition faded even further—he skipped classes, life transforming social activities and studying, pouring all his time into prayer and religious meetings. Eventually when academic failure struck, he felt betrayed, blaming God and turning against the very faith he once dedicated himself to.

Introspection
1. Did he really need a prophet to see that his path of lofty dreams and minimal effort led to inevitable failure?
2. Can it really be godly if no diligence and excellence are demonstrated?

Reflection

🚨Some people crave success but avoid the effort required to achieve it.

🍅 Recognise the mindset of the people in your sphere of influence and identify those with this tendency and strategise to protect your energy and peace.

🍅 After identifying such individuals, start by finding out whether it is fear, laziness, or lack of vision.

🍅 Set clear expectations—Success requires responsibility, accountability and effort.

🍅 Lead by example—Show that hard(smart) work leads to lasting fulfilment.

🍅 Challenge their thinking—Ask questions that spark self-reflection.

🍅 Encourage growth—Support them, but don’t enable complacency.

🍅 Acknowledge progress—Celebrate even small steps toward improvement.

🍅 Protect your peace—Set boundaries and limit unnecessary assistance.

🍅Faith is powerful, but even The Good Book teaches balance—a time to plant and a time to harvest. Even Our Creator worked before He rested. Success demands effort; we can’t skip the work and expect the rewards.

🍅 Accept reality—Some people won’t change, so focus on those who value growth.

💪 Serenity 🏆

☦️Greatness isn’t won in an instant—it is a journey built in the quiet hours, while others rest, by those who dare to toil in the night.

🛐 May our works distinguish us. Amen
