Landslide Victory for Team Ntim at UCC
Mr. Kwame Ntiamoah and Ms. Deborah Gyamfua, popularly known as “The Ntim Fraternity,” have emerged victorious in the 2025 UCC SRC Presidential Elections, securing 7,354 votes and clinching the top student leadership positions at the University of Cape Coast.
The elections were conducted peacefully, with high student turnout and full compliance with university electoral regulations.
Celebrations erupted across campus shortly after the results were announced, with supporters of the Ntim Fraternity flooding social media and campus streets with cheers, banners, and music.
This year’s election sparked significant student interest, with three presidential candidates Je-Hope, Cover-Ghana, and NK Ntim each presenting distinct visions and enthusiasm throughout the campaign. Among them, the“Ntim Fraternity”ticket stood out, consistently gaining attention through its inclusive message, strong grassroots involvement, and fresh approach to enhancing student welfare.
The new SRC leadership is expected to focus on pressing student issues, including hostel accommodation, transport access, academic support systems, and policy reforms. Analysts within student political circles say this win signals a shift toward more proactive and inclusive governance.
The official swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place later this month.
With a clear mandate from the student body, “The Ntim Fraternity” now carries the hopes and expectations of the UCC community. All eyes will be on their first 100 days in office to see how campaign promises translate into meaningful action.
Congratulations to the Ntim Fraternity. They truly deserve this win.
May God see them through their tenure of office.
