The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has applauded the extraordinary achievement of Ace Liam, the one-year-old Ghanaian painter who has broken a 21-year-old Guinness World Record to become the youngest artist in the world.

Hon. Gomashie described Ace Liam’s feat as a triumph for Ghana’s creative industry and a powerful reminder that talent knows no age. She extended special praise to his mother, Chantelle, herself a visual artist, for recognizing and nurturing her son’s gift from infancy.
The Minister pledged the Ministry’s full support to promote the young artist’s work, announcing plans to feature his paintings at upcoming national and international events, including the Afro-Gastro Festival.
“At just one year and 152 days old, Ace Liam has not only made history but has also placed Ghana’s creative arts sector on the global map,” she said. “His story should inspire parents, educators, and institutions to identify and nurture talent from an early age.”
Ace Liam’s recognition by the Guinness World Records has captured global media attention, symbolizing the boundless potential of Ghanaian creativity and the importance of family support in developing young talent.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to creating more opportunities for emerging creatives and fostering an environment where Ghana’s cultural and artistic excellence can thrive locally and internationally.
