Ghana has donated relief items valued at GHS10 million to Jamaica, Cuba, and Sudan, reaffirming its longstanding tradition of solidarity and compassion on the global stage.

The initiative, led by President John Dramani Mahama, aims to support communities in these countries that have been affected by various humanitarian challenges.

According to the government, the donation forms part of Ghana’s broader commitment to promoting international cooperation and extending a helping hand to nations in need.

Officials expressed immense gratitude to Ghanaian companies that contributed to the initiative, describing their support as a testament to the nation’s collective spirit of generosity and unity.

“This gesture reflects Ghana’s enduring belief in shared humanity and mutual support among nations,” a statement from the Presidency noted.
Ghana’s act of goodwill strengthens its reputation as a nation that not only champions Pan-African solidarity but also builds bridges of friendship beyond the continent.
