Continental Reinsurance has unveiled the full list of 30 finalists for the 11th Pan-African Re/Insurance Journalism Awards, following a highly competitive selection process that drew 184 entries from across Africa.
The finalists were determined after a rigorous Judges’ Roundtable held on March 20, 2026, where a panel of industry experts and veteran media professionals assessed entries based on quality, analytical depth, originality, and real-world impact on the re/insurance sector.
Winners and runners-up will be announced during the awards ceremony slated for April 16–17, 2026, in Kigali, Rwanda, alongside the CEO Summit.
Ghana Represented in Broadcast Category
Ghana’s Samuel Nana Effah Obeng of GN Media has been shortlisted in the Best Re/Insurance Broadcast Entry (English) category, highlighting the country’s growing footprint in specialised financial journalism.
