Six graduates of the Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSBT) who obtained First Class honours are expected to receive GH₵10,000 each through their mobile money wallets by 5 p.m. today.
The cash reward forms part of a pledge made by the Chairman of the Governing Board of the institution, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, during the school’s 5th Matriculation and 3rd Congregation Ceremony held in Elmina on Friday.
Dr. Nduom announced during the event that every student graduating with First Class honours would receive financial support as recognition for their academic excellence and dedication.
The announcement attracted loud applause from students, parents and invited guests at the ceremony, with many describing it as a strong motivation for academic discipline and hard work among tertiary students.
Management of the institution says the initiative reflects the school’s commitment to rewarding excellence and supporting graduates as they transition into the job market.
The six beneficiaries are among the outstanding students who excelled in various academic programmes.
